Players will utilize a variety of weapons and abilities to survive across the city, and since Pinocchio is a mechanical puppet, different parts of his body can be modified. The developers of Lies of P have not tried to hide this inspiration, openly referring to the game as a "Souls-like." Instead of Lycans and diseased villagers like in Yharnam, the city of Krat is filled to the brim with mechanical monstrosities and puppets. Lies of P is a third-person action-RPG, with combat and aesthetics that are very, very clearly inspired by Bloodborne, FromSoftware's 2015 Gothic adventure. Plot elements are expected to be driven by player decisions as there is said to be multiple endings to the story, which is always an exciting element to any game. The game is setup in an illustrious and creative world which is clear to have been thought over with great detail. ‘Lying Quests’ will certainly have a big aspect into the adventure as you strive to quell the darkness in Krat while also discovering yourself as you grow ever more human. Throughout the game there will be ways to become more human through lies your character tells. While you are freely able to explore the world, crafting new equipment and weapons will be imperative in your journey.
This game has a similar look to that of the game Bloodborne in which many similarities can be found.
Stakes high enough for you yet? Well it’s up to you to control the famous puppet and use his powers to destroy the evil which plagues the land, while also searching for what makes people human. From what we know so far, the game looks to be a dark, dystopian world in which humanity is on the brink of collapse.
